Ti Ascolto

Ti Ascolto was created to offer support to those struggling with the silent pain of depression. Born from the loss of a father to suicide, our mission is to shed light on what depression truly is, how to recognize it, and ways to prevent it. In a world that often feels overwhelming and isolating, we are here to provide a beacon of hope for those who feel they’ve lost their way.

The “Ti Ascolto” (I Listen) project stems from a deep commitment to this escalating crisis and the realization that action is imperative. We recognize the vital importance of breaking the taboo surrounding mental health, encouraging everyone not to conceal their pain and to seek help without shame.

We are committed not only to providing support and resources – which will come with the conclusion of the research and the launch of the app we are developing – but also, first and foremost, to educating and raising awareness about early stages of depression. Prevention is crucial: increasing awareness of the subtle signals our minds send – those that may seem like boredom or apathy to us – can be decisive in preventing more severe and tragic situations.

Our objective is clear: we want to install hope, break the silence, and build a support network that gives anyone struggling the courage to seek help and the means within their own community that offer them another option, another choice. There is no shame in not feeling well, and everyone deserves to feel welcomed, understood, and supported in their battle against depression and emotional pain.

Roadmap

2023

We launched a series of events focused on exploring human emotions and our connection to them. Through these events, we engage the audience in a sensory experience, using it as a platform to spread awareness about early-stage depression and its impact.

2024 - Q1 & Q2

We assembled a team of experts, including a sociologist, a psychologist, and a social media strategist, and launched the Ti Ascolto Instagram account. This motivational space shares quotes and advice on early-stage depression. We're now expanding to other platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Threads, and LinkedIn to reach a broader audience.

2024 - Q3 & Q4

We are preparing a live event campaign that will include surveys during and after the events to gather valuable data. This data will be instrumental in developing the Ti Ascolto algorithm, which will tailor support to users' individual needs.

2025

We will release the prototype of our app, designed to be user-friendly and powered by the data collected. The app will connect users with local activities and resources based on their specific needs.

2027

The app will be finalized and launched, initially targeting Italy and England, with plans to expand globally. This is just the beginning as we aim to extend our reach and provide support worldwide.
